Hello, long time no talk or post!! I actually feel guilty when I don't update this blog, and I have no idea why. Lately I've just been gone.... my house was getting fumigated, I spent time with my grandma, did a whole bunch of school projects, but enough with the boring stuff.
On Saturday it was one of my really good friend's birthday, and she had just turned 18. So we decided or planned awhile ago to go dancing....yeah like at a club. It was a first for all of us, but really fun. I don't do drugs, party hard, or drink I just LOVE dancing. The only downside was the repetitive music, I wished they played more electronic; and the occasional creeper, us girls just wanted to dance but I assume in this type of atmosphere that your expected to be approached by weirdos O_O
But anyways, we had a blast and went out to eat afterwards!

Birthday Weekend
Yay, I am officially 18 years old! Honestly, my birthday just felt like a normal day, but what made it the best day ever was the good energy, smiles, and laughter I got from everyone....NO ONE at my school was in a bad mood! I didn't go out to dinner strangely, but I received a gym pass!! Besides the happiness, health, and family receiving the gym pass was the next best thing!! I had been asking for this for about two years!
The next day one of my best friends and I went to Six flags. After all the millions of times I have been there (6 to be exact..hehhe over dramatic much?) I could never get myself to go on this ride called Goliath. I love going upside down but one thing I have extreme trouble with is drops! That sounds a bit weird considering that all coasters have drops but, Goliath from afar looks like Death in my eyes. Going up the long hill to the top, I threatened (jokingly) that I would kill my friend for dragging me onto this ride if I didn't end up dying first. Let's just say after I got off, I felt amazing and proud of myself for conquering this small fear.
The next day another best friend and I spent the day lounging at Santa Monica Beach. Being from Los Angeles and wanting to leave this place all the time, I complain about how much so and so place is better in Spain, Canada, or any other place in the world. That day I shut up for once, took in my surroundings, and truly appreciated what I had before me. The setting and feeling was truly bliss and by the end of the day my friend and I promised we would buy a beach house together. Something about the warm sun, cool breeze, and the waves softly crashing in the background just gave me a feeling of wholeness...it was almost intoxicating(and I don't drink).
P.S-There isn't any use blogging about Osama when Everyone knows he is...so just enjoy the pictures!

Drifting towards tomorrow
Sadly, it's a Sunday night and I have to return to school tomorrow. But honestly it's no biggie, because as a senior my schedule is shorter, I get to arrive at school later and leave earlier....so what's to complain about? The past few days I haven't exactly been busy, but just more occupied with things. I went out with a really good friend we got frozen yogurt..which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, exercised for a bit, and made a homemade dinner. I ran two days worth of errands and helped my mom go shopping for her trip to Vegas. I could give two cents about Vegas, it really isn't my scene. Having gone there my for my first time in December, as soon as we hit the strip I wanted OUT! The smoke, casinos, skanky dresses. Ughhh, Anyways!
The only reason I am upset is for my mom leaving, because it is the day after my birthday. I officially turn 18 this Thursday and the following Friday morning she is to leave. I have exactly three days before I hit the big 18 and I can't help but think are things really going to be different...or more exciting? Whatever, I don't know I'll let whatever happens happen. but what I DO know is that this darn Face mask is making me feel as stiff as a board! I think I'll end the night or (morning) by listening to some Justin Nozuka and sipping some tea. Sweet Dreams:)
